What is snakes up?

Snakes are elongated, legless reptiles that belong to the suborder Serpentes. They are found on every continent except Antarctica and come in a variety of sizes and colors. Some species of snakes are venomous, while others are not. Snakes are carnivorous and feed on a wide variety of prey including rodents, birds, and other reptiles. They are ectothermic, meaning they rely on external sources of heat to regulate their body temperature. Many species of snakes are important components of ecosystems, controlling populations of prey species and serving as prey for larger predators. However, some species of snakes are considered pests and human conflicts with snakes are common.
